" [The visuals] have been primarily inspired by feminist issues that I feel aren't addressed in mainstream and white feminism.
I try to speak openly about issues that affect me as a mixed-race non binary femme POC. The lips have become defining symbol for my artwork, but really just evolved from my comic style of drawing. "
